For a photographer, recognizing grids becomes subconscious after a while. Whether a well-worn door, an aging apartment building, or a brick wall abstracted by colorful paints, we’re attracted to them like a bear is to honeycomb.

    1. Thank you! The door was taken many years ago, and I can’t remember where it is…or was. I scanned it from a Kodachrome (as I did with the other two shots), if that tells you anything about its age.
