Enjoying a coffee the other morning with friend Mike at our favored shop, I couldn’t pass up this intensely red chair—the only one like it there—but I hadn’t brought a camera. Mike volunteered his phone (I remembered then that I also had mine, which is usually misplaced and seldom ON), and I grabbed a couple of shots. I’m amazed how well the phone/camera rendered the reds—every bit as accurate as My Other Camera, if not better. And it’s an old phone. What’s next?
