Contours

OR-Painted Hills-2496-1991

Here’s a small slice of Oregon’s Painted Hills, inside the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. I recall taking the photo late in the day, from a point near the main overlook, but not much else. I wasn’t too concerned about writing down details twenty-five years ago.

    1. It is a magical location and begs for abstractions of many kinds. I hope you’ll look it up online,
and I’m glad you enjoyed the photo, part of my film archives from 20+ years ago.
