Little Emily’s Bridge

When you cross the River Wharfe at the bustling Yorkshire market town of Grassington and stroll south along the river a short distance you’ll arrive in the small village of Linton, which possesses charms of its own. My favorite is a 14th Century pack bridge known popularly as Little Emily’s Bridge, which spans Captain’s Beck. Should you be fortunate, as we were on our visit in 2008, a guard will be on duty.
