Tip Toes

Until I began using a Sony Nex 5n I’d never shot with a camera featuring an articulating rear screen. And, although the 5n’s movements are limited compared to other manufacturer’s models, it does what I need it to—saving my knees (and neck) when I choose a really low shooting angle and, as in the photo shown here, taken at a local wetland, allowing a higher-than-normal viewpoint to expand the depth in a scene. Simply tilt the LCD back and down, extend arms over head, compose, shoot.
